Initially, Hortilog LT will provide driver control services for the main company Hortilog (Germany).
Our service is characterised by many years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics and glass transport. We are available to our customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and deliver goods
punctually, safely and reliably.
We have our own modern fleet of vehicles and operate a logistics centre at our site in Recklinghausen. A large network of partners, which we can always fall back on if our own capacities are
insufficient, makes us particularly flexible.
Project logistics
Our core business includes project logistics in the greenhouse construction sector. Here we offer our customers a special "Hortilog full service".
We coordinate the loading with the shipper, organise the transport and unload the goods at the construction site.
All-in: Our all-round carefree package offers our customers everything they need.
All our vehicles are equipped with a loading crane or truck-mounted forklift for unloading.
For very uneven or muddy terrain, we organise a telescopic handler for unloading.
Whether small or large construction projects, we handle projects of all sizes reliably and flexibly.
Glass transport
Our large business area includes the transport of flat glass in crates and on racks.
Our fleet is always state of the art.
Our fleet consists mainly of articulated lorries, but we also have motor vehicles with trailers in use. The vehicles are equipped with A-frames so that glass crates can be transported safely and
professionally. Some of the vehicles also have C-rails and stanchions. A perforated strip, Edscha roof and 20 tension belts are standard equipment.
The vehicles have a maximum internal height of up to 3 metres and can easily transport glass up to 255 cm high.
If unloading by loading crane or truck-mounted forklift is required, we can also organise this for you.
Warehousing
At our site in Recklinghausen, we operate a warehouse with 5,500 square metres of storage space. We mainly store flat glass, but can also store all other goods.
Our storage area at the Recklinghausen site measures 5,500 m².
Container handling is also possible due to the proximity to the inland harbours.
The warehouse is equipped with crane runways. Loads of up to 30 tonnes can be moved. Sufficient forklift trucks are available for fast loading and unloading of palletised goods.
Short-term or long-term storage is possible with us.
